TEST DRIVE
Hello,

I am SO STOKED that you have shown an interest in checking out Cross Street as a place to use your gifts and time! VERY COOL! If you are interested in taking this interest a step forward, then we would be happy to sign you up for our TEST DRIVE program. This will be a time for you to come and observe Cross Street in action, and then I will touch base with you to find out what you liked and even what you did not like about your experience.

 

From there, you will have the choice to make a commitment. If Cross Street seems like the place for you, then our next step will be to find that area you are MOST PASSIONATE about. It may be a Small Group Leader, a Worship Leader, or maybe even a Tech Person. There are TONS of roles in Cross Street that require talented folks such as your self (check below for a list of some of the main roles).

 

Once we discover your role, we will then pair you up with a Veteran CS Volunteer anywhere from 2 Sundays to a Month to get you prepared.

Opportunities to Serve in Cross Street
 
 
·         Small Group Leader
Facilitate a group through fun activities related to the story they hear in Large Group. Build meaningful relationships with kids. (All supplies will be provided)
 
·         Small Group Co-Leader
Assist Group Leader with activities and working with children.
 
·         Supplies Coordinators
(No Sunday morning commitment)
Come to church office during the week and gather supplies for each small group. (Supplies provided)
 
·         First Impressions Team
Greet Children and families and work Registration Table before service
 
·         Set Up/Tear Down Team
Come early or stay late to help set up or tear down Cross Street area
 
·         Worship Team
Lead worship or motions during Large Group with assistance of CD’s and DVD’s
 
·         Storytelling Team
Present Bible Story in a fun way during Large Group (Script & Props provided)
 
·         Technical Team
Coordinate sound, video, audio, lighting etc. for large group time and other productions
